Growing up in the heart of Delhi, Sakshi Gupta always believed that beauty was more than skin deep. But navigating India's beauty market, she noticed a troubling gap — most products were either loaded with harsh chemicals or were priced beyond reach for everyday women.
After years of working in the cosmetics industry and studying formulation science, Sakshi made a bold decision. In 2023, she left her corporate job and poured her savings into creating what would become Akurish Glam — a brand that would stand for clean, effective beauty at honest prices.
“I wanted to create products that I'd feel safe putting on my own skin, and proud to recommend to my sister, my mother, my best friend,” says Sakshi. “Every formula we develop goes through rigorous testing because our customers deserve nothing less than the best.”
Starting from a small workspace in Ramesh Nagar, West Delhi, Sakshi built Akurish Glam from the ground up — sourcing natural ingredients, partnering with ethical manufacturers, and personally testing every product before it reached the shelves. Today, the brand serves thousands of women across India, united by one philosophy: Own Your Glow.
